We want the sex and not the kids. We want the check and not the job. Most of all we want the blessing but don’t answer to God. Got a closet full of clothes and empty bank accounts. If you need a handout, we got nothing; we bounce!
So, we do whatever, eat whatever, smoke whatever, f*** whoever, wear whatever, shake whatever, sell whatever, it’s now or never.
If Grandma and Grandpa saw how we behaved, they would probably spin around like yo-yo’s in their grave.

The first time I heard fIREHOSE was in 1989 when I watched the Santa Cruz skateboarding video Streets on Fire. This video session featured Natas Kaupas, one of the Godfathers of street skating as we know it today. The song Brave Captain and Natas’ skateboarding blew me away! From that moment on, I had a new favorite band.

Last Friday (Oct. 21, 2011) my son Chayo performed Michael Jackson’s Thriller. Well, part of it at lest. We signed him up for a “Hip-Hop” dance class 6 weeks ago. I don’t know why, but I thought he was going to learn how to breakdance. He really enjoyed the class. It ended with a final performance for all the parents.
Chayo is the kid wearing the zombie suite in the back.

Last nite I went to the Healing of the Nation Tour 2011 at the new City Hall Amphitheater in Denver, Colorado. This place is HUGE and Zion I & The Grouch packed the house! The crowd was hyped till the very end.
I thought it was gonna be a bum nite after two friends bailed at the last minute and I had to slang their tickets in the line outside of the venue. My friend Mareva came through as always! Even after gettin’ off a flight from New Orleans at 8pm. Thanks trooper! I even ended up splurging on a t-shirt.
I was able to get out my camera right before they performed Rockit Man! Enjoi!
